School holidays seem to come round with alarming speed and yes, it really is half-term once again. Here’s a few suggestions for this week, next week and beyond.
Get crafty: Stories and crafts are always a winning combination for young children. So if you’re looking for fun-filled activities this half term, look no further than Leeds Central Library on Tuesday May 26. Youngsters can unleash their inner animal at the free Where the Wild Things Are crafts and storytelling session from 1pm to 3pm.
Book it: An exciting new centre inspired by a love of stories will open in Leeds on June 6 at 10am. Youngsters visiting the Rainbow Factory in Farsley will step through a giant storybook and into an enchanting world where their favourite characters leap into life, thanks to stunning handmade models. Book tickets at rainbowfactorykids.com.
