From sushi to shopping, check out our top 3 events going in the city.

Carnival at Cabana:

Carnival spirit is coming to Cabana Leeds as the Brazilian barbecue restaurant hosts a Rio-themed party.

Live music and samba lessons will be on offer to diners from February 16 to 22 and a new sharing cocktail will be added to the menu.

Kids can get involved too, with mini chef masterclasses, mask-making and free face-painting.

Free fair at the Corn Exchange:

Shopaholics can be top of the shops at the Corn Exchange’s new fair.

The first event, which is free, will include up to 30 stalls selling artwork, chocolates, toys and jewellery.

The new monthly fair aims to showcase work by talented retailers, artists, makers and bakers and will run from 10am to 5pm tomorrow and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.

Sushi the at Royal Armouries:

It may be a rather unusual setting for sushi, but we’re going to roll with it.

The Royal Armouries is hosting sushi-making demonstrations at 2.30pm on February 14 and 21, with chef Simon Philips.

Learn the art of sushi making and try some yummy samples. Tickets cost £25.
