A NEW riverside bar is ready to take off in Leeds.
Dock 29 opens at Leeds Dock next week – and comes complete with its own plane.
The pop-up bar includes an aeroplane suspended from the ceiling amongst other quirky items and launches on Tuesday, December 15.
Mike Ingall, chief executive of Allied London, which owns the site, said: “Dock 29 will be such a great addition to the experience already being offered and will strengthen Leeds Dock reputation a highly attractive place to live, work and play.”
The bar will serve up warming winter cocktails, sparkling wines and beers.
Events will include live music from a brass band and carols around the Christmas Tree from Leeds Youth Opera.
Dock 29 will be in place for a minimum of three months to celebrate the arrival of Sky. The company’s new technology campus will bring a total of 600 employees to the Leeds Dock enterprise village by April 2016.
It will be supported by a jam-packed programme of events organised by Allied London, Hello Work and Sky’s own events team.
