Squad of massive Marvel superhero statues unveiled at Trinity Leeds

Visitors can snap a selfie with life-sized statues of Marvel comic book icons including Hulk and Captain Marvel, as well as DC heroes Aquaman, Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and Cyborg.

Swooping in for a limited time only, the superhero squad is at the shopping centre until February 23, alongside rare editions of Justice League #1 and vintage comic Brave and the Bold #29.

Fans who snap a selfie with their favourite character and share it on social media using the hashtag #superheroselfie will have a chance of winning Everyman Cinema tickets for a year.

Danielle Harris, marketing manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “It’s great to see these iconic superheroes assembling at Trinity Leeds once more, after proving such a hit with shoppers last year.

“We wanted to welcome them back over the half term holidays to make sure everyone has a chance to take a photo with their favourite superhero, whilst giving visitors the chance to win a fantastic prize.”

The superhero statues will be in the main atrium at Trinity Leeds from 9am to 6pm from February 14th to 23rd, with appearances from 9am to 7pm on February 20th and 21st, and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
