"We understand how disappointing this must be for young people and their families but managing the spread of COVID must be our first priority.

"All other shows are currently going ahead as planned."

There are 14 other free shows happening across Leeds, but some have already sold out.

The shows will feature singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and more.

Safety measures will include a cap of five people per family group, families sitting in their own marked zone throughout the performance and hand sanitising stations.

Audiences will also not be allowed to shout or sing.

Breeze Leeds added: "Most shows are now sold out and tickets are in demand.

"If you are unable to use your tickets, you have spare ones or you have ordered more than you need (one ticket covers five people in a family), please contact box office to give someone else a chance to see our show.

"Too many no shows will result in us having to charge for tickets in future years, they might be free but they still have value, so please do return spares or ones that won’t be used by calling the box office on 0113 376 0318."
