Halifax singer-songwriter Jess Thristan is to celebrate the release of her new EP by singing to the world.
The 19-year-old, who achieved national airplay last year with her debut single Little Bird, will be using the hottest new live streaming app Periscope to broadcast to the world every night, week commencing today.
Thristan will be coming live from a different corner of her Halifax bedroom each night at 8pm (UK time) and anyone with the Periscope app will be able to see her playing new songs from her forthcoming album as well as tracks from her new EP, Live on Love, which is also out today.
She will also be doing a Q&A via Twitter simultaneously.
The past year has been a promising one for Thristan. With sessions for BBC Radio 2’s Clare Balding and Bob Harris, among others, radio play and critical acclaim already under her belt, she says she wanted to perform for people wherever they are in the world and that Periscope was the perfect way to give her fans a treat.
