Tickets on sale as Maximo Park announce special farewell gig in Leeds for keyboard player

A special one-off Maximo Park show has been announced for Leeds Beckett University - and tickets go on sale on Friday.

Maximo Park are playing a special one-off gig in Leeds

Hit indie band Maximo Park, the group behind hits like Apply Some Pressure, Our Velocity and Hips And Lips, has announced some sad news today.

Keyboard player Lukas Wooller is emigrating to Australia and leaving the band.

To commemorate the occasion the band is playing a special one-off gig at Leeds Beckett University.

Maximo Park official said: "We've got news!

"Slightly sad news first: our keyboardist, Lukas, is emigrating & leaving the band.

"BUT the good news: on Feb 22nd 2019, we'll be releasing an audio-visual document of us live in the studio called ‘As Long As We Keep Moving’ (on DVD, CD & vinyl!)

"AND we play a show on Jan 10th in Leeds with Lukas to say goodbye to our favourite Yorkshireman.
