New Woman is the shared moniker of the elusive Leeds duo Tom Bradley and Adam Taylor.
In a few short erratic appearances they’ve caused quite a stir, debut shows gatecrashing events in their native Leeds and beside fire pits in shamanic woods by Lake Windermere led to them being asked to support garage legends Tav Falco and The Black Lips to fevered acclaim, people begging for recorded material.
Doom School is the result of a long weekend in Adam’s remote Lancashire studio. All recorded in one take and self-produced, it punches well above its tandem weight. Noisy and wild, it’s a thrilling beast to grapple with and one most beat combos couldn’t muster with no amount of overdubbing.
The EP is released on Dead Young Records on Monday March 23. For further details visit http://www.musicglue.com/new-woman/ or https://soundcloud.com/new_woman
