NOTHING, it seems, can stop Maggie Rogers right now.

The hugely talented 23-year-old singer and songwriter from Brooklyn is currently stateside as the support act to Mumford & Sons on their tour of America.

She also backed the London band in all their recent UK dates and certainly went down a storm in Leeds with an outstanding performance.

Rogers shot to fame in 2016 – after moving Pharrell Williams to tears with track Alaska – and her career has been on an upward trajectory ever since.

It’s been over a year since she released EP Now That The Light Is Fading – after the success of Alaska in 2016 – and her new album Heard It In A Past Life is released this month.

She clearly has an excellent relationship with Mumford & Sons and even helped to co-write their most recent release Delta.

Rogers recently spoke of her affection for the band and the feeling is clearly mutual, but her own talents are in no danger of being overlooked.

Opening the Mumford & Sons’ show at the First Direct Arena, she wowed her existing fans and no doubt earned plenty of new ones with a stunning performance.

Kicking things off with On and Off, Dog Years and Say It, Rogers’ impressive set also included Split Stones, Give a Little, Alaska, Burning, Light On, Back in my Body and Fallingwater.

One thing is for certain, we should be seeing plenty more of Maggie Rogers in the coming years.
