Gig preview: Chaika, The Paper Waits and John Davey at Charm Night at Major Tom’s Social, Harrogate

Have your say

Indie promoters Charm return to leading Harrogate live venue and craft beer bar Major Tom’s Social on Thursday, November 26 with a great line-up and a swirling psychedelic light show.

The headliners are fast-rising Leeds garage guitar group Chaika who pack a powerful, atmospheric punch with hints of psychedelia.

Having established a strong live reputation in Leeds in the past 12 months with appearances at Live at Leeds festival and Beacons Metro, this four-piece psych music outfit’s latest single The Mirror, is their strongest to date and comes complete with two unique art prints designed by London-based artist Ollie Scully.

Not for profit Charm gigs over the years have attracted live acts of the calibre of Wild Beasts, I Like Trains, Hood, Cowtown, This Et Al and The Grammatics.
