Totally Spooky Hallowe’en trail tickets on sale now

Tickets are selling fast for the spine-tingling family-friendly outdoor Hallowe’en trail, winding its way around Hazlewood Castle, near Leeds.

Packed with surprises, this one kilometre walk promises fun and spooky adventure, but don’t worry, it’s not scary, making this a family-event for all ages, but designed for primary age children. There’s even a puzzle sheet to solve as you go along, making this interactive and fun for little ones, without any fear-factor included in some other Hallowe’en events.

Visit in the evening and the trail will be illuminated, adding a touch of magic and marvel to the proceedings. For those who prefer a daytime outing, the daylight walkways still offer a fun walk through the woods with plenty to see along the way.

Don’t forget your camera – there are 100 photo opportunities along the trail for you to snap up some haunting memories!

Not only is the event family friendly, there’s plenty of free parking nearby and portable toilets are available at the start and finish. And while it might be suitable for children of all ages, sadly dogs are not allowed to join you on this woodland walk.

It can get muddy underfoot, so boots and wellies are required. On dry days the pathways are accessible to wheelchairs and prams.

It runs until October 31, with key dates already being snapped up, so early booking is advised.
