R&B superstar Ashanti is coming to Leeds for a Noughties throwback gig

Best known for iconic 2000s hits such as Foolish, Rock Wit U (Awww Baby), Rain on Me and Only U, the singer-songwriter is bringing back all the Noughties nostalgia in her 2020 UK tour - at Leeds O2 Academy.

Ashanti has sold millions of records across the world and picked up a Grammy Award, eight Billboard Music Awards and two American Music Awards since releasing her self-titled debut album in 2002.

The singer will also perform in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, Nottingham and Glasgow on the tour, ending with a second tour date in Birmingham which was added due to huge demand.

When is Ashanti performing in Leeds?

Ashanti will bring her tour to Leeds on Wednesday, February 5.

The concert is at the O2 Academy on Cookridge Street.

Doors open at 7pm.

Tickets have sold out for this huge tour date, but you can sign-up to the waiting list on Skiddle or SeeTickets to be notified if re-sale tickets become available.

Who will support her on tour?

Ashanti will be supported by fellow R&B mega-stars Ginuwine and Mario on some of her tour dates.

Unfortunately, this does not include the Leeds gig - and any support acts have not yet been confirmed.

Is there an age restriction?

Only those aged 14 and over can buy standing tickets.

Eight to 13-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult in the seating area of the venue.
