Lead singer Robert Coles, lead guitarist Michael and bassist Matt Hall led the band through a set packed full of favourites.

Their third album, Hope is Just a State of Mind, which was released last year went down well and with new tunes like Gift of Sound and Little Italy being definite hits with the full to capacity crowd.

But it was classic numbers from their previous two albums that really took things to another level, their debut single from 2009, One Night in October, was greeted by a huge singalong while Joanna and Dancing Song saw even more frenzied activity at the front.

Old favourites from the bands second album such as A Little Opus, Jennifer and Worry also went down brilliantly.

It seemed the band were enjoying the opening night of their nine-date tour as well, beaming through the whole set, you could tell Little Comets were ready to be back on the road.
