A bumper bill for Leeds favourite Cocoon's tenth birthday gig

Cocoon In The Park

Can you believe Cocoon in the Park is celebrating its tenth anniversary? I remember the first one like it was yesterday – well, the first couple of hours anyway, the rest was a bit of a blur in truth.

As it’s a special year for Sven Väth’s legendary Leeds party, he’s really pulled some hot talent out of the bag this time.

Apollonia absolutely smashed it back in 2014, and they’re stepping back into Temple Newsam to turn up the heat once again. Enzo Siragusa is teaming up with Archie Hamilton and Rossko for what promises to be an electrifying B2B set, whilst Tale of Us make their Cocoon Leeds debut.

They have been on fire over the past few years, conquering Ibiza, Miami, Mexico and Berlin as well as any other country in the globe with a club. And, if that’s not enough, Seth Troxler and Leeds’ Annie Errez and Bobby O’Donnell will be tearing up the ones and twos.

Sven Väth will bring the evening to a crescendo as per usual, with his brand of ear-shattering techno. For me, Väth is up there with Carl Cox in terms of icon status. He’s been doing his thing now since the early 80s, and is living proof you’re never too old to party.

Taking place on Saturday July 14, we reckon 2018 could be the best one yet.
