Yorkshire as the cyclists saw it

Tour owners Amaury Sports Organisation have given our Tour de France reporter Jonathan Brown an unrivalled view of the world-famous race as it happens, by rolling alongside the peloton in its debut journey through the county.

By saddling up alongside the riders during the two landmark Yorkshire Tour stages, we’ve been given a unique viewpoint of the iconic race and the ways in which the county is celebrating and embracing the 101st Tour de France.

Keep an eye on the Yorkshire Post and Yorkshire Evening Post for the reports, pictures and videos coming from within the procession of motorbikes, cars and of course bicycles that makes the Tour de France the world’s greatest event of its kind.
