Yorkshire CCC 2011 fixtures announced

Yorkshire CCC start will their 2011 LV= County Championship campaign against Worcestershire at New Road on Friday, April 8.

Yorkshire will entertain Somerset in the final Championship game of the season at Headingley Carnegie between September 7 and 10.

Members and supporters looking forward to a trip to the east coast will need to put July and August in their diaries.

Worcestershire play in the LVCC from 11 July and Sussex are the visitors in August (17-20).

The big news for the North Marine Road ground is the arrival of the first twenty20 match to be played in Scarborough.

Durham Dynamos visit the east coast on Sunday, July 10.

The Friends Provident t20 gets underway for Yorkshire Carnegie on 3 June at Headingley Carnegie

The Clydesdale Bank 40 competition runs throughout the season once more with Yorkshire Carnegie playing 6 home and 6 away matches in their group as they hope to go one better than their Semi-Final spot in 2010.

The first Carnegie fixture against Netherlands at Headingley Carnegie is on Easter Sunday 24 April, a match at Scarborough against Sussex Sharks on 21 August completes the east coast schedule and the final group game is against Worcestershire Royals at Headingley Carnegie on 29 August.
