Dreams came true for Warrington in May when he won his world title by defeating Welshman Lee Selby in front of over 20,000 fans at the Elland Road home of his beloved Leeds United.
Warrington, aged 27, believes his 31-year-old world title challenger is past his best - Framption suffered the first defeat of his career against Leo Santa Cruz in January 2017.
He said: "Something tells me he is just not the same Carl Frampton as he was. But I do know that I am reaching my peak years.
"The fire is burning more than ever in the belly and I've worked hard to win this world title."
The fight will be live on BT Sport Box Office with an undercard including JJ Metcalf defending his WBC International super-welterweight title against Liam Williams. Mark Heffron, Michael Conlan, Paddy Barnes and Steven Ward.
