Ofo

The world's first dockless bike scheme is due to launch in the city before summer, allowing Leeds residents to hire a three-speed bike via a smartphone app, ride it anywhere in the city and lock it again, for a cost of 50p for a 30-minute journey.

A fleet of 1,000 bikes will be available for rental and while the scheme will launch in the city centre initially, there are plans to expand into the suburbs and nearby towns shortly after.
