Yorkshire Carnegie have signed ex-Rotherham Titans lock Dan Sanderson from Premiership Worcester Warriors and South African fly-half Warren Seals.

Sanderson, who turns 32 next week, has joined on a two-year deal while Seals arrives from National Division One Darlington Mowden Park on a 12-month contract.

Carnegie head coach Bryan Redpath said: “Both have settled in really well having been here for a number of weeks.

“Dan is an experienced player having played in both the Championship and Premiership and he will add to our existing group for the second-row.

“Warren is an ambitious player who wants to show what he can do. He’ll give us options at fly-half alongside Joe Ford and Alex Davies, who can play nine or ten.”

Carnegie begin their pre-season campaign against Premiership side Bath at Ilkley RU on Saturday (6pm) as they start building towards the Championship kick-off next month.
