NCE: Colls playing for top spot at Rec' while Pickering aim to pick up the pace

Tomorrow Colls bid to continue their strong recent return to form at Athersley Recreation. Fellow promotion contenders Pickering Town, meanwhile, are desperate to put their inconsistent run of results behind them and get their own promotion hopes back on track.

But they face what could be a difficult outing at home to Garforth Town, who have won four out of their last five games against some tough opponents.

Both Pontefract and Pickering will also be hoping that Harrogate Railway can rekindle the recent form that saw them score 14 goals in three games, with Railway welcoming league leaders AFC Mansfield, who are looking to make it 12 league wins in a row.

Pickering Town are hoping for a return to form at home to Garforth Town.

Elsewhere, Hemsworth Miners Welfare host Staveley MW to try and go into the new month where they left off in the old one, while Liversedge travel to struggling Parkgate.

Still sitting pretty at the top of Division One with games in hand are Knaresborough, but they’ll be far from complacent ahead of a potentially tricky match at home to Swallownest.

Meanwhile, two promotion-chasing sides looking for a quick return to form will go head to head tomorrow, as Yorkshire Amateur host Selby Town looking to re-ignite their push for second place, while Selby aim to cling on to the final play-off place after losing to fellow chasers Glasshoughton Welfare recently.

Both will also be hoping that AFC Emley can produce a positive result when they welcome promotion chasers Shirebrook Town, while Nostell Miners Welfare face a highly winnable fixture against an Armthorpe Welfare side with only one win in nine.
