Teenage Wakefield Trinity Wildcats forward Jordan Crowther has joined League One club York City Knights on a one-month loan deal.

Crowther made his senior debut in 2014 and played seven times last year.

The 19-year-old came through Wildcats’ academy ranks after playing for Westgate Wolves and Crigglestone All Blacks.

Wildcats chairman, Michael Carter said: “It is a great opportunity for Jordan to play in a very competitive league with York City Knights and we are looking forward to see how he goes over the course of the next month.

“It should give Jordan some fascinating challenges which we feel he will thrive on.”
