Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have signed Warrington Wolves winger Chris Riley on a month’s loan.

The 26-year old goes straight into Trinity’s 19-man squad for Sunday’s home clash against Catalans Dragons.

Riley has played just one game so far this season, against St Helens in round one, but has scored 120 tries in 180 appearances during his Wolves career.

Wildcats are currently without the suspended Dean Collis and injured Jimmy Keinhorst.

“We have injuries and suspensions in the backs so his experience will really help us out over the next month and he will bring a lot of energy to our team,” said coach Richard Agar.

Meanwhile, Aussie recruit Harry Siejka is still to arrive in the country after enduring flight delays.

He was due to arrive on Thursday afternoon, but it is now anticipated he will touch down on Saturday.
