Parkside suffered only their third league defeat since joining the Conference two years ago when they were beaten 18-14 at Blackbrook last week.

Forwards Craig Miles (sternum) and Adam Biscomb (knee) suffered long-term injuries and Jack Carvill faces a late fitness test, but Carl Briggs and Ryan Campbell are back in contention.

Hosts Hunslet Warriors will ease relegation fears and put pressure on Milford Marlins in the race for a Division One play-offs spot if they win tomorrow’s derby.

Warriors will be without Ben Gale, Karl Featherstone, Luke Pennington and Johnny Dawson, due to work commitments, but Jenson Okhovat, Phil Lythe and Nathan Sefton could return.

Relegation-threatened East Leeds face a must-win game at home to second-bottom Millom. Already weakened by injuries and holidays, Easts will be without several players – from the first- and second-team squads – who are away on a stag party.

Coach Peter Clarkson has watched the under-18s in training this week and some of the club’s youngsters will be drafted in to fill the gap.

Also in Division One, Oulton Raiders are at home to Featherstone Lions.
