HUNSLET CLUB Parkside’s march towards the National Conference Division Three title continued with a 38-14 home win over third-placed Stanningley.
Luke O’Malley bagged a brace of tries for Parkside, who are the only Conference team with a 100 per cent winning record this year.
Omar Alrawi, Kieran Murphy, Mark Holmes, Jack Carville and Craig Miles also crossed and Josh Murphy (4) and Andy Hullock added goals.
Stanningley’s try scorers were Stuart Halliday, Ian Crowe and Josh Tate, with Jackson Green landing a conversion.
A poor Hunslet Warriors performance ended in a 32-4 home defeat by Pilkington Recs in Division One.
Karl Featherstone scored Warriors’ try and captain Caldon Bravo, Luke Day and Daryl Gaunt were among the few players to impress.
East Leeds and Oulton Warriors were both beaten in the Premier Division.
Easts were pipped by a last-gasp Danny Rowse drop goal, going down 31-30 at Lock Lane after hitting back from 24-16 behind at the break.
Luke Sebine scored a try on his first-team debut and Nathan Conroy crossed twice and landed five goals.
James Forsell and Kyle Quinlan were Easts’ other try scorers.
Raiders – promoted last year – are two points adrift at the foot of the table after a 24-12 loss to visitors West Hull, who were second-bottom going into the game.
Declan Storey and Oli Bloomer crossed for Raiders and Danny Stanley landed a goal.
