“Featherstone have put a good squad together and have added to that with a couple of Super League loans, which is helping them.

“We know it’s going to be a tough one again but hopefully we’re getting a few players back now and can have a push of our own.” Rovers coach Jon Sharp rated their 42-18 win over London Broncos as their best performance of the season.

But he warned: “Dewsbury v Featherstone games are always really tight affairs and we’re not expecting this to be any different.”

Coach John Kear said: “I went to watch Workington last week and was mightily impressed.

“They’ve got some threat out wide in the centres and the half-backs were playing really well.”

In League 1, Hunslet Hawks are on the road to Gloucestershire AG. Coach Matt Bramald said: “Having not played for two weeks I don’t know whether Gloucester will be rusty or raring to go. We just need to be ready.”
