The duo will take part in the 2018 UK Red Ride to Wembley for the sport’s charity Rugby League Cares.

Walker, who works for Rhinos’ foundation and as an assistant-coach with the first team, will ride at least a couple of days of the 300-mile off-road course from Old Trafford to the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup final, as he did last year.

Senior rode the full route in 2017, but will drive one of the support vehicles this time.

“My partner Emily Colbourne is doing the full ride and I’ll be driving a support van,” Senior said. “I loved every minute of the ride last year – well, almost every minute – and I’m really looking forward to helping the riders get through a tough week for a brilliant cause.

“I’ll be dealing with a lot of the logistics involved in moving the equipment and nutrition the riders need through the day, as well as offering words of encouragement and banter.”

Walker said: “I did the first two days last year and absolutely loved it. The work RL Cares does in the sport is incredible and I’m pleased to have this opportunity to support a great charity which really does make a difference to people’s lives.”
