ENGLAND ACADEMY prop George Milton could make his Leeds Rhinos debut away to Salford Red Devils on Sunday.

The 19-year-old former Guiseley Rangers, Milford Marlins and Oulton Raiders forward has been named in coach Brian McDermott’s initial squad for the first time.

Veteran prop Jamie Peacock is also included after being rested for Monday’s win over Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Ashton Golding – who has made just two senior appearances – is set to replace injured winger Ryan Hall. Centre Joel Moon and second-row Brett Delaney have been named in the 19, despite both suffering a rib injury against Wakefield, while Andy Yates is in both Leeds and Hunslet’s 19s. Tom Briscoe, Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Kylie Leuluai are out.

Salford are without suspended duo Rangi Chase and Weller Hauraki, plus Josh Griffin, Tommy Lee and Corey Paterson, who are injured. Mason Caton-Brown, Theo Fages, Matthew Gee, Ryan Lannon, Kevin Locke, Jordan Walne and Jason Walton are all in contention. Salford’s Liam Hood and Ben Jones-Bishop will both be facing their former club for the first time.
