Captain Danny McGuire and prop Mitch Garbutt have both been included in Leeds Rhinos’ initial 19-man squad for Thursday’s final First Utility Super League game at Hull KR.
McGuire has missed two games due to a foot injury, but had a protective boot removed last week.
Garbutt had been due to face Wigan Warriors last Friday, but suffered a back problem in training.
Knee injury victim Stevie Ward, who has not played this season, is the only senior player remaining on Rhinos’ casualty list.
Club spokesman Phil Daly said the forward is around a month away from being available for selection.
Hull KR will be without former Leeds forward Chris Clarkson.
Iain Thornley and Mitch Allgood are also out from the team which lost to Hull last week.
Kieran Dixon, Kevin Larroyer, James Green, John Boudebza and David Thompson are in line for a call-up.
Meanwhile, Rhinos have asked for an away fixture in the opening round of the Qualifiers, to allow time to for renovation work on the Headingley Carnegie pitch to be completed.
The pitch was re-seeded after last week’s game.
