there will be at least one team change when Leeds Rhinos face Huddersfield Giants at Headingley Carnegie tonight.

Prop Andy Yates, who made his debut in the win over Widnes 13 days ago, is not included in the initial 19-man squad. He got a late call-up to face Widnes after Kylie Leuluai was taken ill during the warm-up. Leuluai is back in contention for tonight, along with half-back/hooker Rob Burrow, who wasn’t selected for the previous match. Also in the 19 is back-row forward Josh Walters, who has yet to feature in the senior team this season.

Brett Delaney has now fully recovered from knee and ankle injuries, but will have to wait for his first game of the year. Coach Brian McDermott said: “He has been declared fit by the physios. Now it’s our task to get him fit because he hasn’t run since October.”

Delaney could play on dual-registration with Hunslet Hawks. Giants will be without Luke Robinson, who was a substitute in their defeat at Wigan Warriors last time out. Michael Lawrence, Kyle Wood and Jodie Broughton are all vying for a call-up.
