Myler, brought in from Catalans Dragons, has been awarded the No7 jersey with Moon switching from No4 to No6.

Liam Sutcliffe and Jordan Lilley are other half-back options, but Moon and Myler are expected to begin the 2018 season as first-choice.

Moon was Rhinos’ player of the year in 2017 and Widnes-born Myler said: “I’m really looking forward to playing with him.

“Last year he switched from centre to stand-off and I think he has made that spot his own now.

“He was instrumental in the title win and you can see his game has come on.

“He is an outstanding player and across the board they’ve got talent.

“That was a big draw for me and I know it will bring my game on. Having good players around you makes your job easier.”

Meanwhile, Myler has welcomed the news Rhinos are to visit NRL champions Melbourne Storm for the World Club Challenge on Friday, February 16.

That could be his third competitive game for Leeds and he said: “I’ve been fortunate to play in the World Club Series before, but never the big one.

“I’ll be chomping at the bit to play.”
