Veteran half-back Rob Burrow has been ruled out of Leeds Rhinos’ side for Saturday’s game at London Broncos in the First Utility Qualifiers.
Burrow suffered a calf injury against Featherstone Rovers two weeks ago.
He played against Hull KR last Friday, but went off before the end and is not included in the initial 19 for the game at Ealing Trailfinders.
Rhinos’ coaching staff are hopeful Burrow and prop Brad Singleton, who also drops out, will be available for the crunch home game against Salford on September 2.
Jordan Lilley has been drafted into the 19 in place of Burrow and Anthony Mullally returns to replace Singleton.
Stevie Ward and Ashton Golding, who were last week’s unused squad members, both retain their place.
London are without stand-off Api Pewhairangi, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in last week’s 76-16 drubbing of Batley Bulldogs.
Ex-Leeds man Alex Foster, who has been playing in the centres, misses out due to a groin problem.
Lewis Bienek also drops out from last week’s team. Mark Offerdahl, William Barthau, Elliot Kear, Israel Eliab and Jon Magrin are all in contention for a call-up.
London Broncos’ 19-man squad is: Ackers, Barthau, Battye, Bussey, Cunningham, Eliab, Garside, Harrison, Hellewell, Ioane, Kear, Macani, Magrin, Offerdahl, Slyney, Soward, Thackray, Walker, Williams.
Leeds Rhinos’ 19-man squad is: T Briscoe, Watkins, Moon, Hall, McGuire, Galloway, Cuthbertson, Jones-Buchanan, Ablett, Ward, Sutcliffe, Garbutt, Keinhorst, Achurch, Mullally, Golding, Lilley, Ferres, Segeyaro.
