The 17-year-old, from Castleford, trained full-time over Easter and warmed up as 18th man before last Saturday’s loss at Salford.

Brett Delaney (hamstring) could return if he passes a fitness test and Jimmy Keinhorst (calf) is also back in contention, but Danny McGuire (calf) drops out from last week’s team. Mitch Achurch has been named in the 19, despite suffering an ankle injury at Salford.

Ryan Hall (ankle), Tom Briscoe (shoulder), Joel Moon (groin), Adam Cuthbertson (biceps), Stevie Ward (knee), Josh Walters (ankle) and Brett Ferres (calf) all remain on the casualty list.

Hull coach Lee Radford will select from the 17 who beat Huddersfield Giants last week, plus Leon Pryce and Danny Washbrook. Former Leeds man Gareth Ellis is not included in Hull’s initial 19 due to a rib injury and Mark Minichiello and Carlos Tuimavave also remain sidelined.
