Leeds Rhinos tackle the snow after getting caught cold in pre-season training

Having coped with new restrictions on training because of the coronavirus pandemic - and twice a week drive-through Covid testing - Rhinos’ first team squad found themselves being put through their places during a blizzard at their Kirkstall base on Friday.

Coach Richard Agar admitted: “The snow was coming down, the pitch was white - I am still amazed we see boys training in short and tee-shirts in this, but we had a really enjoyable session.

“We got a lot out of it, plenty of quality and great energy from them.
