Rhinos had 10 senior players – worth an estimated £1m of their £1.8m salary cap – on the sidelines when they were beaten 28-20 at John Smith’s Stadium in First Utility Super League last Friday.

Full-back Zak Hardaker, who missed that game due to concussion, has been named in the initial 19-man squad for tonight’s rematch and Adam Cuthbertson is also included after four games out of the team due to an elbow injury.

Jordan Baldwinson, who has featured just once for Leeds this year and played on dual-registration for Featherstone Rovers in their loss at Oldham last Sunday, retains his place in the initial 19. Teenager Cameron Smith drops out after making his debut a week ago.

Giants will be without on-loan winger Gene Ormsby, who scored one of their tries last week.

He has been recalled by parent club Warrington Wolves.

Jared Simpson, Tyler Dickinson and Sam Wood are vying to replace him in the 17.
