Leeds Rhinos star 'fine' for Huddersfield Giants clash after car prang

Young Leeds Rhinos centre Harry Newman is available for today's (Sunday's) Betfred Super League return after being involved in a road traffic collision on his way to training.

Rhinos say Newman was checked out by a club doctor at their Kirkstall headquarters and is "fine" to face his hometown club.

The 20-year-old was in eye-catching form before the coronavirus layoff and forced his way into new England boss Shaun Wane's first squad.

Today's behind closed doors fixture against Giants (6.30pm) is Rhinos' first since March 5.
