Seasoned playmaker Rob Burrow, workhorse Brett Delaney, rising star stand-off Liam Sutcliffe (suspension) and powerhouse prop Mitch Garbutt are all named in coach Brian McDermott’s initial 19-man squad for the trip.

Burrow and Delaney were withdrawn from last week’s Magic Weekend squad because of injury setbacks.

It isn’t all good news for the blue and amber outfit, however, as Anthony Mullally and Beau Falloon are still out of contention.

Warrington, meanwhile, have received a significant boost of their own.

Danger man Chris Sandow and Brad Dwyer are both back in the selection mix, with Rhys Evans and former Wakefield Trinity Wildcats centre Ryan Atkins back in contention after missing the defeat to Castleford Tigers at St James’ Park, Newcastle, last Saturday.

Warrington Wolves 19-man squad: Ryan Atkins, Ryan Bailey, Daryl Clark, Ben Currie, Brad Dwyer, Rhys Evans, Kurt Gidley, Chris Hill, Benjamin Jullien, George King, Toby King, Tom Lineham, Gene Ormsby, Stefan Ratchford, Chris Sandow, Ashton Sims, Joe Westerman, Ben Westwood, Sam Wilde.
