Tomorrow’s match at Huddersfield Giants will see Burrow join former team-mate Keith Senior in sixth place on the competition’s list of all-time appearances. Burrow, who made his debut in 2001, is currently seventh, on 412.

Senior played 412 Super League games from the competition’s opening match – for Sheffield against Paris in 1996 – until his Leeds career was ended by a serious knee injury six years ago.

Another Rhinos great, Jamie Peacock, is set to drop down the list. Castleford Tigers’ Andy Lynch needs one appearance to move above him into joint second place, alongside former St Helens star Paul Wellens, on 439. Ex-Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield leads the table with 454 Super League appearances from 1997-2015.

Meanwhile, Rhinos’ veteran forward Jamie Jones-Buchanan is in contention to return from injury tomorrow. Jones-Buchanan has missed three matches since suffering damage to a foot in last month’s win over Salford Red Devils.

He has been named in Rhinos’ initial 19-man squad and winger Ash Handley is in contention for his second Leeds appearance of the season.

Handley has been in impressive form in the Kingstone Press Championship for Rhinos’ dual-registration partner club Featherstone Rovers.

Stevie Ward (hamstring) remains on the casualty list, but is hopeful he could be in contention for next week’s visit of Wigan Warriors, while Mikolaj Oledzki, who was named in last week’s 19 after being recalled from loan at Bradford, will play for Rhinos’ academy against Bradford at Headingley tonight (7pm).

Giants coach Rick Stone will select from the 17 who drew at Wigan last week, plus Dale Ferguson and Ryan Brierley.

Meanwhile, Hunslet have confirmed their rearranged home game against Whitehaven in League One will be staged on Sunday, April 30, kicking-off at 2pm. The game was scheduled for this Sunday, but postponed by the Rugby Football League to make way for Whitehaven’s delayed Challenge Cup tie against Oxford.

Dewsbury Rams’ Challenge Cup fifth-round derby at home to Batley Bulldogs has been confirmed for Sunday, April 23 (3pm).
