Rob Burrow and Adam Cuthbertson were named in Wednesday’s 19-man squad but failed to come successfully come through yesterday’s final practice.

Their loss is another hammer blow for the Super League strugglers who have also seen England’s Zak Hardaker and full-back deputy Ashton Golding pull out following injuries suffered at Warrington last Friday.

Brad Singleton serves a one-match ban but, in better news, Australian centre Joel Moon returns after a two-month absence to bring some much-needed strike quality.

Former Huddersfield Giants prop Anthony Mullally is also back after missing last week’s game with a dislocated finger and Australian hooker Beau Falloon is in the mix again.

Catalans are again without former Leeds hooker Paul Aiton, ex-Wakefield second-row Olivier Elima, Krisnan Inu and scrum-half Richie Myler.

Louis Anderson, Greg Mounis and Dave Taylor suffered injuries in Saturday’s win over Hull KR and are replaced by Willie Mason, Morgan Escaré and Thibaud Margalet.
