Our fans' panel thoroughly enjoyed Leeds Rhinos' 36-0 victory over Warrington Wolves last week and are bullish ahead of tomorrow's visit of Toronto Wolfpack.

Gareth Widopp, Blake Austin, Josh Charnley, Chris Hill, Steve Price, your guys took one hell of a beating!

What an amazing Friday night under the lights at HQ that was, the passing, the movement the kicking, the attitude was better than we have seen in many a year. There seemed a real team spirit in attack and defence and to nil a side tipped for it “to be their year” was an amazing effort.

Gale again was outstanding as was Ava Seumanufagai and Matt Prior and it was good to have Rhyse Martin back in the second row. Konrad Hurrell and Harry Newman were also on top form.

I am still unconvinced about Robert Lui, he looks out of sorts still. I thought Brad Dwyer was outstanding against his old club, he dances about like a gazelle on the plains of the Serengeti.

I think the 'Spirit of the Rhinos' is beautifully brought to life by the way Richie Myler is conducting himself. He gets pushed back from a starting place, loses his shirt number but, comes off the bench and gives not only 100 per cent but he changes the game in our favour.

Wolfpack up next, it should be another two points.

Last Friday Leeds produced an outstanding performance. Warrington were poor but I think Leeds’ tenacious tackling, line speed and ruck speed made them so.

Warrington tried attacking through the middle and were knocked backwards, then they tried out wide and received the same treatment.

Leeds were relentless and the signs are good. They want to work for each other and cover for each other if any mistakes are made. The great defence allowed Leeds to play some rugby and Luke Gale is proving his star billing. Getting the ball out wide, fast and early to Konrad Hurrell and Harry Newman is causing opposition teams all sort of problems.

With the Warrington test out of the way the next test is winning when you are clear favourites.

Leeds will be tipped to walk through Toronto which brings its own type of pressure. Leeds need show they can cope with the pressure of being favourites, which let’s be honest, we haven’t been for many games in the last two seasons. I am sure we can keep this winning run going but we need to keep up to the standards we have set.

That was another very impressive performance from Leeds in their fabulous victory over the Warrington Wolves.

Leeds certainly had the Wolves running scared all night and I’m very happy to say that I’m very much enjoying eating a rather large slice of humble pie after I predicted last week that Leeds would lose fairly heavily to Warrington.

If you keep this up for the rest of the season Leeds, then I’ll happily eat all of the humble pie.

Joking aside Leeds were very fluid in every aspect of their performance and attacked and defended as a unit.

Leeds played as a team, whereas Warrington played as individuals. The key now for Leeds is to do this for the rest of the season.

Yes there will be ups and downs as that’s the nature of sport, just keep on performing consistently as individuals and as a team collectively and it could well prove to be a very successful season indeed.

So now let’s see if Leeds can keep up the good work when our former very successful coach Brian McDermott brings his Toronto side to Headingley.

I’m not going to predict anything this week, you know what to do Leeds, over to you!

Another performance that I wasn’t expecting but a pleasant surprise.

We started off like a house on fire and never let Wire get a hold of the game.

Apart from the first couple of minutes they never looked to be in the same class as the Rhinos.

I thought all of our big-name players stood up and played like we all know they can.

The kicking game was much improved from last time out and the game management by Luke Gale and Robert Lui showed what we have been missing for the last couple of years.

The big men all had an influence, with Matt Prior putting a big shift in with fewer penalties too. Brad Dwyer – playing the full game – showed up well against his old club, as did Richie Myler, who once he got over the nervous start at full-bac,k made amends with a well-taken try.

It seems unfair to single out individual players from an excellent team performance last Friday, but it has to be done.

On this form I can’t see Toronto Wolfpack worrying us too much tomorrow!

I don’t think I have enjoyed a night at Emerald Headingley, as much as I enjoyed last Friday, for a long time.

The Rhinos scored 36 unanswered points against Warrington Wolves. The 36 points were great but the fact that the Rhinos nilled Warrington was even more encouraging. I somehow don’t think it is going to be their year!

Leeds played as a team. They supported each other right up to the final whistle. Luke Gale’s organisational skills were on show yet again. Special mention to Richie Myler who was thrown in at the deep end after 20 minutes. I’m sure he wasn’t expecting to play at full-back during the game but he played really well and also scored a try.

A quick turnaround sees Toronto Wolfpack visiting Emerald Headingley tomorrow. After watching their performance against St Helens I can’t see anything but a Leeds Rhinos win.

Our defence is going from strength to strength and our attacking options are looking good. Let’s hope that Jack Walker’s injury isn’t too serious and that Stevie Ward shows some improvement this week.

I went to the game against Warrington last Friday and I thought it would be a tough game, but I was confident.

I never expected such a walkover like that. Every player on that pitch was superb. It was disappointing to lose Jack Walker to injury, but Richie Myler came in and once again stepped up to the challenge. His attitude has been second to none this season.

Tomorrow we play a Toronto Wolfpack team who will be hungry for their first win of the season.

McDermott will have his players ready for the challenge. They’ve got a very small squad that has been hit with injuries and visa issues.

I would be very disappointed to lose tonight after the three wins in a row.

We need to keep building this momentum and consistency in performances throughout the season.

Congratulations to Harry Newman on being called up to the senior England squad. It goes to show how much he has developed his game throughout the ranks and shows that dual registration does work.
