BOSS GLENN Morrison has hailed Dewsbury Rams’ 20-16 win at London Broncos as their best performance of the season – so far.
The victory lifted Rams to fourth place in the Kingstone Press Championship.
And Morrison said: “We had a good feeling all the way down there.
“We were pretty positive and it was good to come away with the points.”
He added: “We got it together, but we’re still not 100 per cent.
“We know we have got more in us. We are still coming up with some poor plays, but it was good to have smiles on our faces after the game – not feeling like we’ve lost even though we’ve got the points.
“It was good to be the first team to win down there and it was an important one for us, with how tight the table is.”
Rams’ aim at the start of the year was to finish in the top six and Morrison said that has not changed.
“We want to improve on last year and get into the top six,” he stated.
“Anything above that is a bonus.
“We’ve got Leigh next week and with one defeat you can drop down a few places.
“It is easy getting there and hard to stay there, but we want to stay as high as we can.”
Rams came through the game two days ago with no major new injury concerns.
