Rams play in the higher-tier Kingstone Press Championship, but Morrison admitted: “We are struggling. We only had 14 players who could train at our team run on Wednesday, so we are going to have to dig deep.”

Rams’ initial 19-man squad includes Karl Pryce, who hasn’t played this season and 20-year-old forward Sam Bates, who is yet to feature for the club.

Luke Adamson (ankle) and Paul Sykes (groin) are Rams’ latest casualties after being hurt in last weekend’s loss to Bradford Bulls.

Morrison added: “They are unbeaten this year and they’ve got a couple of our ex-players in Austin [Buchanan] and Tonksy [Josh Tonks] so we know we are going to have to be at our best. Hopefully we can do enough to get into the next round, then get some bodies back and kick on from there.”
