Coach Sharp looking for improvement from '˜scratchy' Rovers
It will be both clubs’ final pre-season game and Sharp says Rovers must be better than they were in last Sunday’s 24-10 win over Hunslet Hawks.
Rovers trailed 10-6 at the break and Sharp said: “I’m looking for improvement.

“You could tell some of our combinations were playing for the first time so, in an attacking sense, we looked a bit scratchy.
“On a positive note, we defended well and improved since the Wakefield game, which was something I was particularly looking for.
“We put ourselves under a lot of pressure due to the number of mistakes we were making and the players defended well for long periods.

Sharp added: “I was particularly impressed with Kyran Johnson.
“Danny Craven showed ability in his kicking game and I thought Jamie Cording had one of his best performances in a Rovers shirt.”
