BOSS DARYL Powell is expecting Castleford Tigers to be pushed all the way at Hull KR tonight, but he insists victory is in their own hands.

Tonight’s game is crucial to Tigers’ hopes of securing a top-four spot in First Utility Super League and Powell is expecting a reaction after Hull KR were hammered by Hull last Saturday.

“They’ve got a couple of injuries,” said Powell, whose team ended a run of three games without a win by crushing Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 56-16 five days ago.

“Like a lot of the competition, they’ve been a little inconsistent.

“Nobody has really hit consistent form and they’re in the middle of it all.

“They’re there or thereabouts and they’ll want to respond.

“They’ve played some smart rugby league this year and put teams under pressure.

“Terry Campese is at the heart of that and they’ll be a challenge.

“But it’s about us again. We don’t need to worry about anything other than ourselves and we’re confident if we play well we can get the job done.”

Tigers are without luckless hooker Scott Moore.

The former Saints, Huddersfield and London ‘nine’ suffered concussion in last week’s derby win, just two minutes into his return from a three-game absence due to a foot injury.

Adam Milner took over, after beginning the game on the bench and is likely to start at No 9 tonight, despite a broken nose.

Ben Roberts is back in contention, along with James Clare and Michael Channing.

Half-back Albert Kelly could return for Rovers after a hamstring injury.

Shaun Lunt is also back in the reckoning, along with Liam Salter.

Sonny Esslemont drops out from last week’s 17.
