Moors has been sidelined since before Easter due to a broken hand.

But coach Daryl Powell said he could be the next of Tigers’ long-term casualties to get back into action.

“He has seen a specialist this week and he should not be too far away,” Powell said.

The coach is also hopeful French packman Gadwin Springer (groin injury) could be available for Sunday’s visit of Hull KR.

Powell will name his initial 19-man squad on Friday and he said there are no major new concerns from last week’s loss at Wigan Warriors.

“A few blokes are a bit sore and didn’t train on Monday, but I think we are all right,” Powell said.

“We have just come out of the Easter period and short turnarounds, which is pretty tough.

“We will have to wait and see as we roll through the week and see how people pull up.”

Centre Jake Webster took a bang to a hip at Wigan, and Powell said: “He came off, but it was more precautionary than anything else.”

Frankie Mariano, who played one game earlier this season after returning from a knee reconstruction, remains on the casualty list.

“It is not his cruciate, but he aggravated his knee,” Powell said.

“Hopefully he will be available in a few weeks.”
