STANNINGLEY aim to move a step closer to automatic promotion when they play host to Hull Dockers in National Conference Division Two tomorrow.

With six fixtures remaining Stanningley are four points clear at the top of the table, but have played more games than many of their rivals.

The top-two will be promoted with the sides from third to sixth playing-off to join them in Division One next year. Jack Smith and Ash Yarrow are back in contention for Stanningley and coach Jordan Lilley said: “From one to 17 we were outstanding against East Leeds last week so we hope to continue that form against a tough Dockers side.”

East Leeds, who are fourth, will be without Jake Normington, Ben Walkin and Kane Riley for the trip to second-placed Crosfields, but Dave Nurse, Adam Wrigg and Kallum Wooffitt could return. Hunslet Warriors are at home to West Bowling

In Division One, fourth-placed Milford Marlins entertain Leigh Miners who are third. Martin Loveridge (unavailable), James Barker (hand) and David Warren (shoulder) miss out, but Eddie Wilson and Steve Bacon are back in contention and Jacob Skinner, MaCauley Barron, Ross Hammill and Sergei Kravchenko could be called up after impressing for the reserves.

Oulton Raiders are at Pilkington Recs and Premier Division leaders Hunslet Club Parkside visit Myton Warriors.
