OULTON RAIDERS eased their own relegation worries and sent Hunslet Warriors tumbling closer to the drop with a 44-24 derby success in National Conference Division One.

Warriors had Darrell Forster and Gareth Croft sent-off for separate incidents in the second half and Johnny Dawson and Gareth Brain were sin-binned after the break.

Their try scorers were Nathan Benson, Brad Gill, Dawson and Lee West and Jordan Gale kicked four goals.

Oulton’s Lawrence Dibb was also sent-off. Andy Williamson, Olly Bloomer, Kieran Walpole, Josh Lancaster, Craig Savage, James Cruickshank, Matthew Todd and Rob Stanley scored Raiders’ tries and Dominic Flanagan landed six goals.

For the second successive week Milford let slip a 14-point lead to lose a game they should have won.

Ryan Oxtoby scored a try, two conversions and a penalty in the first half against Thatto Heath and Tom Wilson also crossed, but Milford conceded 20 unanswered points after the break to lose 20-14.

Under-strength East Leeds got off to a flier against second-placed Myton Warriors, taking an early lead through a Johnny Carter try and Declan Tomlinson conversion.

But the Hull outfit pulled clear before Josh Longbottom and Mark Greenwood crossed and Tomlinson added his second conversion in a 42-16 defeat which leaves Easts deep in relegation danger.

Ben Kendall scored a hat-trick as Thornhill Trojans cruised to a 54-0 win over Stanley Rangers in Division Two.

Mindaugas Bendikas bagged a brace and other try scorers were Joss Ratcliffe, George Stott, Danny Ratcliffe, Scotty Dyson and Scott Lee. George Woodcock kicked seven goals.
