Classic UK Pro Wrestling ran a charity show at the weekend in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity and raised £150.

Ryan Hendrix opened the show by defending the British Championship against Bradford’s Gareth Angel, who took the title for a second time by defeating Hendrix.

The second match-up was a three-on-two handicap in which Persephone and The Lionkings defeated Luna Rox and Kyle Kingsley.

In another bout where a title was lost, Lexi – Olivia’s defence of her women’s championship was unsuccessful as the WAW’s Leia Elise won to become the new women’s champion.

After a hard-fought tag team match, Caz Crash lost his Classic UK Pro Wrestling Heavyweight championship title to Matty Mayhem.

Mayhem becomes a double champion not just with Classic UK Pro Wrestling but with another promotion.

In the main event, Classic UK Pro Wrestling had a 16-man Battle Royal to determine a No 1 contender for their next event.

Top stars from all over the UK entered the ring for this one, with even special guest host Dave Faulkner throwing himself into the mix to try to get a shot at facing the champion. WAW’s Keegan won the rumble and becomes the No 1 contender.

Classic UK Pro Wrestling would like to thank everyone involved in the show, from the talent, WAW, the special guest host Dave Faulkner, all the guys who helped out on the show with advice and running the show, the sound crew, the filming crew, photographers, the fans, the venue at St Aidans Community Hall, and a big special thank you to the host of the show who stepped in last minute.
