Netball: Poor Leeds Carnegie let it slip

Leeds Carnegie relinquished an 11-goal half-time lead against Premier 1 league leaders Hucclcote to lose 59-49 at Headingley on Sunday.

Carnegie dominated the first 30 minutes, arguably playing their best netball of the season so far and they thoroughly deserved their lead at the half.

However in the second half, Leeds were as bad as they were good in the first and were outplayed in every third.

The loss sees Carnegie slip to eighth in the table, worryingly only third from bottom.
