Match report: Portsmouth v Leeds United

Leeds United twice fought back from a goal down to earn a 2-2 draw with Portsmouth.

Davide Somma's ninth goal of the season was enough to claimed a point during a gripping game at Fratton Park which was marred by three power cuts in the second half.

Portsmouth dominated the first half and hit the crossbar through Greg Halford before Joel Ward drilled home Liam Lawrence's lay-off in the 26th minute.

Leeds created little in response, and Jonathan Howson's curling effort which drifted around Jamie Ashdown's left-hand post was as close as they came before half-time.

But Leeds equalised at the start of the second half when Luciano Becchio converted Howson's cut-back at the end of a Robert Snodgrass' free-kick.

Portsmouth regained the lead on 61 minutes through John Utaka's scrappy finish but Davide Somma came off the bench immediately and scored just as quickly from 20 yards to share the points.
