Peter Taylor is urging his Bradford City troops to avoid stagefright at League Two rivals Aldershot tonight.
City have slipped into the bottom half of the table again following back-to-back losses to Barnet and Oxford United, underlining the maddening inconsistencies that have had boss Taylor and the claret-and-amber faithful tearing their hair out for large parts of this season.
And Taylor wants more composure and confidence in their performance at the EBB Stadium.
Taylor, whose side succumbed to a late rally in a 2-1 weekend loss at Oxford, said: "The boys have got to be better on the ball, simple as that. We can't afford not to have enough control of match.
"I know we are a lot better than we showed at Oxford, but I thought we just looked nervous on the ball and we didn't do enough with it in an attacking way."
City hope to have James Hanson fit again with the ex-Guiseley striker restricted to a brief cameo at Oxford due to a knee injury.
